Painting in Zurich

Interior and facade painting, wallpapering and vacant-flat painting — with careful preparation, covered floors and a date that holds.

Painting — BauStern

Surface first

Filling, sanding, priming — a coat of paint only lasts as well as the surface beneath it.

Consistent across the portfolio

Same colours, same products, same workmanship across all properties of one property management.

While buildings are in use

Stairwells, offices and occupied flats — in stages, covered, cleaned daily.

Quick at a change of tenant

Vacant-flat painting within a few days, so the flat can be let on time.

What Painting includes.

What we take on in painting — on its own or as part of a complete package.

Interior painting

Walls and ceilings in flats, stairwells and offices — emulsion, mineral paint or latex, depending on the room.

Facade painting

Cleaning, repair and painting of rendered facades. We coordinate scaffolding and permits.

Wallpapering

Non-woven and paper wallpapers, murals and panoramic wallpapers — with neat seams.

Vacant-flat painting

The whole flat at a change of tenant: filling holes, sealing stains, two coats, clean edges.

Filling and surface preparation

Crack treatment, smooth skim coating, textured plaster finish, priming — also as preparation for other trades.

Three reasons for BauStern.

Predictable cost per flat

For vacant flats, we offer flat fees under a framework agreement based on the number of rooms and the scope — the calculator on the home page shows guide prices.

No colour chaos in your portfolio

For each property management, we keep a materials list with colours and products.

Easy to combine

Painting plus flooring plus minor repairs: the whole vacant flat from one company.

Frequently asked questions: painting.

Short answers. Everything else we clarify at the site visit.

How many coats are included?

Two coats on a prepared surface. For strong colour changes or stains, an insulating primer is added — shown in the quote.

Does the paint smell for long?

We work with low-solvent products. Rooms can usually be used again the next day.

Do you also paint occupied flats?

Yes, room by room, with furniture covered and daily cleaning. Tenants are informed in writing in advance.

How quickly can a vacant flat be painted?

A 3.5-room flat with a normal surface is usually painted in three to five working days. The date is set out in the contract.
