Painters in Zurich.

Walls, ceilings, doors and entire flats — in occupied homes or in an empty flat at a change of tenant. We work in Zurich and throughout Switzerland, at a fixed price per m² or per room instead of by the hour.

Three firm commitments.

Priced by area, not by the hour

We charge per m² or per room. You know the price before the first brushstroke — preparing the surface is included.

Covered and clean

We cover floors, windows and any remaining furniture, and mask off skirting boards and switches. Handed over broom-clean.

One company for everything that follows

If you need plastering, new floors or a bathroom repair as well as painting, it all comes from the same company and is planned in the same sequence.

The surface sets the price.

The paint is rarely the expensive part. What makes the difference is preparation: a wall with a few plug holes is quickly filled and sanded, while a wall with cracks, leftover wallpaper or uneven plaster takes considerably longer. That is why we look at the surfaces before we quote and build the preparation into the price — not as an item that only appears once work has started. Ceiling height, window reveals and the colour also play a part: standard white covers faster than a custom colour that needs more coats. Glazes, wallpaper and textured plaster are priced separately, because materials and time vary widely.

Frequently asked questions.

What people ask us most often before painting work.

How much does a painter cost per m² in Zurich?

For walls we charge CHF 18 to 25 per m², for ceilings CHF 20 to 28 per m² — two coats, covering included. Skim coating to Q2 or Q3 costs an additional CHF 18 to 25 per m² if the surface needs it. Paint is added as material.

How much does it cost to paint 100 m²?

With us, 100 m² of wall area costs CHF 1'800 to 2'500 in labour, two coats including covering. Where you land in that range depends mainly on the condition of the surface.

How much does it cost to paint a 4.5-room flat?

For five rooms of up to around 20 m² each (walls and ceilings) and a corridor of around 30 m², we estimate roughly CHF 5'300 to 9'250 in labour. This is a guide price based on our unit rates; the binding figure is set out in the fixed-price quote after the site visit.

How much does a painter cost per hour?

We price painting work by area or per room, not by the hour. That way the price is fixed in advance, and slower work is never at your expense.

How long does it take to paint a flat?

A typical vacant flat is usually fully painted in three to five working days — depending on the number of rooms and the drying time between coats.

Do you also paint doors, stairwells and facades?

Yes. We lacquer doors from CHF 95 per door leaf (both sides). We also take on stairwells, offices and facades; we give you the price after the site visit, because scaffolding, access and surfaces vary greatly.
