The quote lists our labour item by item. Kitchen units, appliances and materials are shown separately — so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
We give you the binding date as soon as the layout, the connections and the kitchen delivery date are confirmed. It is set out in the contract.
No other room in a flat brings so many trades together in so little space: water and drainage, power for the hob, oven and dishwasher, an extractor, tiles or a splashback, plus walls and floors that rarely look the same after strip-out as they did before. If each trade is contracted separately, the fitter waits for the plumber and the tiler waits for the fitter — and the flat is without a kitchen for longer than necessary. That is why we plan the sequence in advance. During the survey we check where the connections are and whether they suit the new kitchen, measure niches and walls, and clarify what might come to light behind the old kitchen. Anything that only shows up during strip-out, we report to you in writing with a price before we continue.

For fitting the kitchen alone, we charge CHF 900 to CHF 1'800 per kitchen, excluding special cases for appliance connections. Work around the kitchen is priced at the same guide rates as in the overview. All figures cover labour only: kitchen units, appliances, materials and the electrical connections by the licensed electrical firm are extra. Travel is included in Zurich and the surrounding agglomeration; outside this area it appears as a fixed item in the quote.
For fitting the kitchen alone we charge CHF 900 to CHF 1'800 in labour per kitchen. If removal of the old kitchen (CHF 500 to 1'500), a tiled splashback (CHF 62 to 85 per m²) and painting are added, we price these at the guide rates above. Kitchen units, appliances, materials and the electrical connections are extra; the binding figure is set out in the fixed-price quote after the survey.
Yes. Fronts, worktop, splashback or individual appliances can often be swapped without removing the whole kitchen. During the survey we check whether the carcasses and connections are still up to it — and tell you honestly if a replacement is the better investment.
You can choose the kitchen and appliances yourself from a kitchen maker or retailer; we take care of strip-out, connections and fitting. On request, we source the kitchen for you. Either way, the kitchen and materials are listed separately from our labour in the quote.
A licensed electrical firm, coordinated by us. We schedule their work into the sequence so that the connections are finished before walls are closed and units are fitted.
That depends on the scope: fitting within the existing layout is much quicker than a remodelling with new pipes, tiling and painting. We give you the binding period after the survey; it is set out in the contract. What matters is that the kitchen has been delivered before strip-out begins.
A new kitchen within the existing layout usually requires no permit. If load-bearing walls are altered or the use changes, a building application (Baugesuch) may be required. The municipality makes the binding decision; during the site visit we tell you whether we recommend checking with them.
We stop, document it with photos and send you a change order with a price. Nothing is carried out until you approve it.
