Do I need a building permit?
Floor-plan changes that do not affect the load-bearing structure often require no permit; extensions and changes of use do. We clarify whether a permit is needed before work starts and coordinate the application with the specialist planners.
Who does the structural engineering?
An external structural engineer whom we bring in and coordinate. Their costs are shown separately in the quote.
How long does a remodelling project take?
From strip-out to handover, remodelling a flat usually takes several weeks to a few months, depending on the scope. The date is set out in the contract, the stages in the construction programme.
Can business continue during the remodelling?
For commercial premises, yes — in stages, with dust protection walls and, by arrangement, work outside opening hours.
