What about asbestos and other hazardous substances?

For buildings constructed before 1990, a hazardous-substances survey is required before strip-out. The survey is carried out by an independent hazardous-substances specialist; if asbestos is found, a remediation company licensed for this work removes it before we continue with the strip-out.

How loud and dusty will it be?

We put up dust protection walls, cover entrances and work with dust extraction. By arrangement, we schedule noisy work during core hours.

Where does the material go?

To licensed disposal facilities in the canton of Zurich, separated by fraction. We enclose the weighing slip with the invoice.

Does a strip-out need a permit?

Interior strip-outs that do not affect the load-bearing structure usually do not. Demolishing entire building elements does — we clarify this before the quote.
