The result.

Rooms bookable again stage by stage; the vaulted bar has opened.

Starting point and execution

Starting point

A hotel in full operation: rooms with worn floors and walls, plus an unused vaulted cellar. The goal: renew the rooms floor by floor and run the cellar as a bar.

Solution

Rooms in series — the same materials, the same processes, closed one floor at a time. In the vault: bar counter, seating niches, flooring and lighting, with care for the natural stone fabric.
